CHEF’S ATTACK was held last June 21, Saturday 10:00am to 1:00 pm at the YHE MAFBEX WTC. The 8 teams (composed of a distinguished chef instructor,alumni, and a student) competed in a friendly showdown a la Iron Chef. The event was organized by YHE and CHIP with moderator Chef Angelica Angelia. This year’s theme is the Olympics so each of the teams were assigned a country. They were given an hour to prepare an appetizer, main course,and dessert form the market basket.

The vulcans have landed

Here is a sneak peek of the new kitchen labs and how the other new labs will look like…. These laboratories were part of the phase 1 SHRIM renovation. The Vulcan stoves and cooking equipment are imported. It took almost 2 months for shipping but they have finally arrived and now have been installed for use this term.

All lecture rooms will now have white glass boards:
